Managing the student clinical rotation process can be a headache. Clinical opportunities are a limited resource. It always seems there are more and more students needing to be placed in fewer and fewer openings. The changing health care landscape and our changing demographics are making things worse by increasing the pressure on hospitals to do more with less staff and on schools to expand enrollment. New realities call for new approaches.
